Fiji Excursion
Experience living in paradise with five magical nights in Fiji! Students will spend their first and last night on the mainland in a twin share hotel and will enjoy 3 nights on Treasure Island – a resort island surrounded by brilliant blue seas and a marine sanctuary. Offered as either a pre/mid/or post-semester excursion, this laidback adventure will get you away from the well-trodden tourist path and onto a small remote island where you can unwind and enjoy living on “Fiji-time”. Discover the island by day through snorkeling, kayaking, beach volleyball, or getting to know the local turtle breeding program, and simply relaxing on the beach, before drifting off to sleep to the sounds of swaying palm trees in traditional Fijian wood and straw huts for a picture-perfect island experience.

Sample Itinerary (subject to change)*
Day 1: After landing in Nadi, you’ll collect your belongings and make your way to hotel on the mainland for your first night in Fiji.
Day 2: The following morning the group will take a scenic ferry ride to Treasure Island, a beautiful resort island destination in the Mamanuca islands, where you’ll spend your next 3 nights. The resort takes up the entire island so you will be able to explore and enjoy the beautiful views and marine sanctuary at every corner. Your afternoon will be spent snorkeling, sunbathing on the beach, or simply relaxing in a hammock under a palm tree. The day will conclude with a traditional Fijian feast and traditional Fijian dance ceremony.
Day 3-4: Two full days on Treasure Island provide plenty of opportunity to enjoy all that the island has to offer. Learn about Fijian culture and island life; discover how their turtle breeding program is thriving; explore the coral; play volleyball in the sand, paddle board on the clear lagoon waters, or just enjoy the views. You can also opt for kayaking or paddle boarding. All meals are included each day on the island.
Day 5: Soak up your last morning on the island with a delicious breakfast of tropical fruits and a final swim, before catching the ferry back to the mainland and a farewell dinner.
Day 6: Bid adieu to the tropical paradise and head to the airport for your flights out of Fiji.

- 2 x nights in a shared hotel room on the mainland
- 3 x nights in traditional beach bure (a Fijian wood and straw hut). Upgraded for guests’ comfort, these bures include air conditioning, refrigerators, private balconies with outdoor furniture, hammocks and in room safes.
