Overseas Transcripts

The official transcript from your overseas program will be sent to your home university approximately 2-3 months after the program ends. In some cases, we will provide instructions on how to release the transcript electronically from your host university to your home university.  Further information will be provided by your Program Manager at the end of your program. If you need an additional copy of your transcript from a past program, please complete this form and we will advise you of your options for obtaining the transcript from your host university.

Tax Deductions

Does The Education Abroad Network issue IRS Form 1098T?    Because TEAN is not a U.S. Department of Education Title IV institution, we do not issue 1098T forms. Our foreign university partners will also not issue 1098T forms. For the majority of our program participants the maximum tax deduction allowed will be met by approximately first $4,000 in tuition paid to their U.S. institution. When requested, we will provide you with a billing statement showing the payments you have made to TEAN, as well as an estimated tuition amount included in your program fee. Please consult your tax professional for further information.
