Hello Sailor is a funky new nautical themed bar in Darlinghurst. Monday through Friday from 5-7 pm enjoy complimentary snacks with your drink purchase.
4. $8 Comedy Night at The Old Manly Boatshed
Monday night is stand-up comedy night at The Old Manly Boatshed. With a line-up of both local and touring comics, it’s always a mixed bag. You may have to sit through some awful acts to get a few laughs, but for $8 we say it’s worth it.
5. 2 for 1 Cocktails at Different Drummer
Named one of Sydney’s best cocktail bars, the only thing that makes it even better is their awesome happy hour. Every day from 6-7:30pm enjoy 2 for 1 cocktails.
6. $8 Movie Tickets at Ritz Cinema
A movie ticket can get really expensive in Sydney. So Cheap Tuesday for $8 at the Ritz Cinema in Randwick is a great way to see new releases on a budget.
7. Free Entry and Tours at Museum of Contemporary Art
You can’t get a better deal than free, right? The Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) is open daily until 5 pm, and also features late hours every Thursday until 9 pm. See the website for info and times on guided tours.
8. Dollar Dog Night at Soda Factory
You won’t go hungry Tuesdays at Soda Factory with $1 Hot Dog Nights. Normally $10, they have five different hot dogs on the $1 menu.
9. $5 Steak at The Forresters
Forresters tends to be pretty good value for money most days of the week, but you can’t beat the $5 steak. It’s available all day with a drink purchase and comes with either chips or mash.
10. Under 30s Discount at Sydney Theatre Company
Pick up discounted show tickets for $55 from the the Sydney Theatre Company for any in-season performance (excludes previews and Saturday nights). Must show a valid ID with pickup from the box office.
