Over the summer of 2022, I studied abroad in Seoul, South Korea with TEAN at Korea University. One of the classes I had was Media Art Culture and Society with Dr. Haerin Shin. This class focused on the cause and effect of a range of societal themes and how they are present in different media. For the final project of this class, I chose to put together a fine art photography collection titled City Tones. City Tones is centered around examining how editing a picture can change our perception of the image. There are 15 original pictures that were then edited in 3 ways. Here is a sample of the collection with one version of each picture.
