One of the biggest reasons I chose to study here in Townsville was the easy access to the reef. Growing up, I kept a reef aquarium, and I have been fascinated by the reef ever since. Over lecture recess, my lifelong dream of experiencing the largest reef system in the world finally came true. I travelled to Cairns and went out on a 3 day liveaboard trip that was truly incredible. I captured most of my dives with a GoPro, and this video shows a few of the highlights! Enjoy!
