As bushfires continue to affect Australia, our hearts go out to our Aussie friends, wildlife and the environment.

For every student who applies this month to either the Australian Environment, Wildlife and Conservation or the Tropical Marine Ecology 3-week summer programs, we’ll donate $300 to Friends of the Koala in New South Wales.

About Friends of the Koala

The volunteer organization – which students visit during the Australian Environment, Wildlife and Conservation course – is dedicated to conserving koalas and preserving their habitat through rescue and rehabilitation, protecting and enhancing koala habitats, educating the community and more. Due to ongoing drought and bushfires, the organization is currently handling an influx of koalas needing care and rely on donations to continue their work.
