Known for its incredible beaches, rugged mountain ranges and historic temples, Busan offers a one-of-a-kind combination of a comfortable climate, historic culture and fun entertainment. Though it’s the second-largest city in South Korea, Busan maintains a chill beachside atmosphere complete with plenty of cool bars, small boutiques, trendy cafes and sensational seafood. The friendships I made in Korea are irreplaceable and will last a lifetime. Although the pandemic unfortunately put an abrupt end to our semester abroad, I am thankful I got to experience the beauty of Seoul with some great people. Whenever I feel heartbroken over all of the memories I could have made, I remember that I have new, great friends who know exactly what I'm going through and we can reminisce on the times we shared. I hope to return to Seoul next year to do all the things I could not do due to COVID-19!"
