Where You Can Study
Most of TEAN’s study abroad Vietnam programs are held at the country’s first international university, RMIT, located in Ho Chi Minh City. Known for cutting-edge technology, science and design programs that focus on hands-on, practical training, the modern university specializes in STEM, Fashion, Digital Design, Business, Communications, and Hospitality and Tourism. Outside of class, you’ll become immersed in the buzzing city that blends Chinese and French Colonial influences with contemporary Vietnamese culture while living with other TEAN students in sleek serviced apartments.
Along with Ho Chi Minh City, internships are available in the northern city of Hanoi. The country’s capital and a business hub, Hanoi is also known for its rich history (going back for millennia), culture, architecture and as a gateway to the north’s striking mountains and bays.
Why Study Abroad in Vietnam
There are few places able to withstand the turmoil that Vietnam has been through and still stand proud. Just like the country’s famous strong coffee with sweet milk, its bitter past has always been balanced with the sweetness and beauty of its people and landscape. Studying abroad in Vietnam will put you in the middle of a country that honors its traditions while zooming ahead into the future and immerse you in a local student experience learning firsthand about the history, culture and society. When studying abroad in Vietnam, you’ll also be able to marvel at the dramatic limestone cliffs in Halong Bay then head to Ho Chi Minh City where the mass of motorcycles will make your head spin. The food is incredible too – diverse Vietnamese cuisine will always have you asking for more!
