What started as two friends hoping to provide opportunities for more students to have life changing experiences based on their own adventures studying abroad has now turned into an international company helping thousands of students see the world while furthering their education.

ISA BY WORLDSTRIDES

Since 1987, International Studies Abroad (ISA) has provided college students the opportunity to explore the world through education abroad, providing culturally engaging programs in more than 30 countries. ISA offers a wide range of affordable opportunities including study abroad, international internships, and service-learning programs through distinguished host institutions and partnerships. Veritas Christian Study Abroad

Veritas Christian Study Abroad programs enable college-level study abroad participants to deepen their faith during a traditional study abroad program by providing Christian spiritual support, community ministry opportunities, and specialized academics. Veritas students participate in orientation, classes, cultural activities, and excursions with traditional students and are supported by experienced local staff who are committed to making every student’s time abroad successful. TEAN Fun Run

We hosted the first TEAN Fun Run during the NAFSA Conference in 2011. It’s a tradition we have proudly carried on at each annual conference.

We donate to charity on behalf of each participant and also encourage participants to donate to the cause. We have supported a number of worthy organizations over the last several years with more than $38,000 donated in total since the inaugural Fun Run.

More About the Charities

Choose Love (2022) does whatever it takes to provide refugees and displaced people with everything from lifesaving search and rescue boats to a safe space and educational support. Most recently, they focused on supporting local organizations meeting the specific needs of the most marginalized communities in Ukraine and surrounding countries including BIPOC-specific organizations.

Jan’s Tutoring House (2019) specializes in providing enriching educational activities for inner city youth in Washington, D.C. youths through one-on-one mentoring in after-school and summer programs. The Christchurch Foundation (2019) established the Our People, Our City Fund to help raise money to help the families and Muslim communities impacted by the tragic events of March 15.

KOTO (2018) stands for Know One, Teach One. This social enterprise runs hospitality training programs in Hanoi, Vietnam for at-risk and disadvantaged youth, providing an opportunity to learn and thrive in their lives. beGirl.world (2018) is an organization in Philadelphia that empowers teenage girls through global education and travel.

The Great Barrier Reef Foundation (2017) is dedicated to preserving the Great Barrier Reef for future generations and The Cathy Freeman Foundation (2017) was founded 10 years ago with the mission “To help Indigenous children experience their full potential in school, and beyond.”

The Family Tree (2016) A local Denver charity that provides services designed to empower and change the lives of victims of abuse, domestic violence and homelessness.

Nepal Earthquake Relief (2015) Cranbrook Explorers & Travellers Overseas Partnerships (CETOP) supports families, villages, schools and medical facilities in the Rasuwa District of Nepal.

Thai Freedom House (2014) An independent, non-profit language and arts community learning center in Northern Thailand dedicated to assisting families and individuals who are refugees and members of minority groups.

Reigns of Life (2013) The South Bend, Indiana-based center provides therapeutic horseback riding programs for children and adults with disabilities.

Cambodian Rural Schools (2012) PEPY is an educational development organization working in rural Cambodia. PEPY stands for “Promoting Education, emPowering Youth.”

Christchurch Earthquake Appeal (2011) The Wilding Foundation is a charity founded by New Zealand born actress and director, Anna Wilding that helped raised money for Christchurch Earthquake Relief.
