Along with in-country Resident Directors who are available 24 hours a day, we also help advise students with applying to the university or internship of your choice, transferring the appropriate credits and more.

Excellent Value

Everything we offer, from comfortable accommodation to one-of-a-kind excursions and cultural activities, is included in the program price which means no hidden costs or extra fees. Students are able to also choose additional excursions and travels for an even richer experience.

What started as two friends hoping to provide opportunities for more students to have life changing experiences based on their own adventures studying abroad has now turned into an international company helping thousands of students see the world while furthering their education.

Our team has spent considerable time studying, traveling, working and living overseas – they are dreamers and doers who now want to make your dream of studying abroad a reality.

TEAN Vision

Our vision is a sustainable and ethically grounded global village in which students, through education abroad, acquire life-changing knowledge, skills and attitudes that empower them to create such a future.

TEAN Mission

To change lives and life habits:

We provide life-changing experiences and alternative life habits. The students on our programs and the people they meet will all be changed forever by the opportunities we create for them both to engage with one another and to pursue sustainable lives and life habits.

Core Values

choose earth

Live sustainably. Our programs and practices are designed to foster global thinking and informed local action because the individual choices we make have a global impact. Let’s work truly together and choose a sustainable future for our planet.

Be out, not in

Jump out of the box. We do things differently and this is our value proposition. Let the others copy us. Strive to innovate and re-invent. Move the goalposts and don’t accept the norm as the standard.

Spread smiles

Love what we do and have fun doing it. Ensure others share in that joy by creating at least one smile every day. Studying abroad is one of the best times of your life, it should come with a smile.

Keep it simple

Take the complex or difficult and make it easy for everyone involved.

Be totally awesome

We work hard to ensure everything we do is right, then work harder to make it even better. Nothing but being phenomenal in every aspect of what we do is acceptable from our people, our programs and our service.

TEAN’S NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY

At The Education Abroad Network, we are committed to providing equal opportunities in international education and do not discriminate against any individual on the basis of ethnicity, nationality, ancestry, race, color, religion, creed, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, age, political affiliations or disability. TEAN actively recruits students from all populations, with an emphasis on those that are underrepresented. In addition, we pride ourselves on our support and assistance to students with mental and/or physical disabilities wishing to study abroad. Through our ongoing dedication to the ideals of international education and our commitment to service for students of all backgrounds, TEAN is consistently working to cultivate cultural awareness and tolerance among students, our employees and the greater international community.

TEAN Annual Charity Fun Run

TEAN Fun Run

We hosted the first TEAN Fun Run during the NAFSA Conference in 2011. It’s a tradition we have proudly carried on at each annual conference.

We donate to charity on behalf of each participant and also encourage participants to donate to the cause. We have supported a number of worthy organizations over the last several years with more than $38,000 donated in total since the inaugural Fun Run.

We look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come and hope you’ll consider joining us at a future NAFSA Conference.
