Sydney has some to-die-for dessert places. It’s hard to choose, but here are six of the best…

Max Brenner

A must-try experience for all the chocoholics out there! Max Brenner Chocolate Bar is the definition of a classy dessert experience. With a wide variety of desserts and chocolate concoctions from all over the world, I don’t think there is a single person who couldn’t find something they love at Max Brenner. I definitely suggest making a meal of your dessert as the creations are not only incredibly rich and filling, but portion sizes are massive.

Donut Time

I had an amazing time in Sydney and there are many things that I miss about being in the city… Donut Time being one of those things. This place is absolutely amazing! Whether you are a donut lover or not, you will appreciate the pure Instagram worthiness of these delicious donuts. My personal favorite was the Slim Shady but you honestly couldn’t go wrong with any of them.

N2 Extreme Gelato

This place is an experience in itself. Designed to look like a chemistry lab, the workers (dressed in lab coats) use liquid nitrogen to create tasty and original gelato treats. While it may be a bit on the pricier side, it’s definitely worth it. With a menu that changes every two weeks, you definitely want to check out their Instagram (which is awesome) before you go to make sure there is a flavor you will like…not that you will ever have any trouble finding one!

Tella Balls

As a Nutella fanatic, I had heard of Tella Balls before the thought of studying abroad in Australia even crossed my mind. The divine dessert bar in Dulwich Hill offers a variety of different treats but is most notable for their never-ending menu of Nutella desserts! From Nutella waffles and milkshakes to Nutella flavored ice cream served in donut cones, Tella Balls has everything a Nutella fan could dream of.

i-Creamy

If you were to pass by i-Creamy, you would think it’s just your average gelato shop, but that is definitely not the case. The workers of i-Creamy are true artists, capable of turning your gelato into floral masterpieces, which taste just as good as they look. Whether you’re a bonafide foodie or simply love to share aesthetically pleasing food on social media, i-Creamy is the place for you.

Emperor’s Garden Cake and Bakery

Located in Sydney’s Chinatown, Emperor’s Garden sells a variety of baked goods and sweet treats. Sold out of one of the shop’s windows are the world’s BEST cream puffs! Need I say more? Made fresh – you literally watch them being made – Emperor’s Garden cream puffs are the ultimate cheap treat.
